Is anyone else have a problem with doing an undo operation (more specifically, deleting a soft synth (AP6 Kompakt Module), and hitting undo to put it back), and having AP7 hang up on you?

Does the problem occur with other VST Instruments?

Is this the simplest way to reproduce?

- Start ACID
- Add Kompakt
- Delete Kompakt
- Undo

Does the project require MIDI and/or Audio Tracks to be reproduced?
Was the Kompakt Soft Synth bus routed to another audio bus or to the master bus?

How are you undoing? Keyboard, mouse, menu?

I'll come up with a script to reproduce the problem and post here. It is consistently happening on my projects, but that is after I have 20+ tracks and various multi-out soft synths. I'll need to narrow it down. Thanks! :)

Hi Peter

I had my first long session with AP7 yesterday going all day and I also had some crashes(about 5 or 6) with regards to undo's, and when removing assignable effects tracks. Also, AP7 would remove the effects bus when I deleted the plugin from the assigned effects track(assignable effects track) I also experienced some odd behavior when undoing from the menu area. I also had a crash when adding loops quickly. Rewire also had a crash while using Dr Rex. I was able to copy 2 of the dumps, but I'm not sure if posting them on the forum is the right thing to do? I realize this may not be enough info for you and if you need more specific data or info I hope I can provide it. I'm wondering if my Firepod may be causing crashes. I last updated the drivers for it around 6 months ago. I'm wondering if the firepod is a compatable device with AP6 and 7. I noticed it is used in the seminar series for both 6 and 7. Could there be a specific setting that works well with the Firepod? I know my UAD-1 card does not like low latency setting in Acid but is fine with Cubase. Any recommendations would be fantastic. Also, wondering what generic settings in acid 7 that could be causing instability? It is probably my computer or hardware device since most people seem to say things are stable with AP7.
