Subject:Oops.. need to convert 16bit to 24bit project

I reset Acid and forgot to change the settings from 16 to 24bit. I got pretty far along on my latest song before I realized it. It's largely MIDI tracks with some loops (24 bit originally but added when the project was 16 bit).

I went to Properties and changed the project to 24bit.

Aside from unfreezing the MIDI tracks and refreezing them, is there anything else I need to do to upsample everything in the project into 24bit?

Media is converted on the fly to the project settings. This also applies to rendering. All media is converted to floating point at the project sample rate. It is then mixed and processed in floating point until it gets to the hardware. The project sample rate and bit depth define what the hardware is set to.

The recordings you made will be at 16 bit if you changed the project bit depth after you recorded. Specifically, it is what your hardware provides when set to 16 bit, and can be dependent on the drivers/hardware.

So, you don't need to do anything.
