I have the exact same setup, and I really like the old i/o box, couldn't do without it. I don't understand why they replaced it. When I first got the Delta 66 it took some trial and error working with the Delta control panel and Acid (and other audio software) settings to get it all coordinated. First, install the latest Delta driver and control panel. Then describe what exactly isn't working (input what audio? Microphone? External amp?) and what settings you have and I'll see if I can help. I also found mAudio tech support to be pretty helpful when I first had questions. First thing to try is set the Patchbay/router to Monitor Mixer, and make sure the levels are set correctly for the input channels. Then in Acid you need to check the hardware settings and experiment with the choices of default audio recording device. In my case I mainly use a microphone connected to Input 1, so in Acid I set the default audio recording device to Analog In 1 Delta 66. Since that's a single channel, you also need to set the recording track to mono input if you want to hear it in both channels. If you have two mics or instruments set up, the audio recording device can be set to Analog In 1/Analog In 2. Like I said, some trial and error is necessary if you're a technical idiot like me. |
