I'm glad to see that loops are available for download from the Sony Creative store. Since a file that someone purchases and downloads doesn't require Sony to manufacture a physical CD, what's the likelihood that Sony will bring back some of the more rare and hard to find loop collections? I didn't have the money at the time but I sure would like a chance to spice up some of my projects with: Voices of Native America "A journey into the heart and soul of indigenous North American culture." LLNA1000 Sounds of Asia:Opium "Traditional sounds that capture the spirit of Asia." LLO1000 Ethnicity "Soulful and traditional rhythms from around the globe." LLE1000 Thx. |

Thanks for listing those. I never knew those exist since I don't use loops very much but those would be real handy to have. I'd buy them as downloads. |

Royalty free Midi files would also make an interesting addition to the Sony loop content that's offered for sale. |

Acid 7 already has some MIDI files in the content disk, along with the DLS synths. Years ago, Sony (or was it SF?) tried to raise interest in MIDI loop bundles. I registered my interest, but I don't think it ever really took off. TwiddlyBits sells MIDI files successfully. Perhaps Sony could do a deal? |
