Question is a little vague, could you be more specific of what you are trying to do?

Actually the question seems very clear ... how does one render a .wmv file with .mp3 audio? I believe the answer is that one cannot in Vegas.

So my question back is, what's wrong with .wma for the audio?

When the file is re-encoded on youtube the WMV audio is out of sync with video. Youtube preffers MP3 audio to avoid this problem.

Then export as something else, then. There are a lot of file formats and codecs that you can use within Vegas. Export out as an MP4. I have never had audio syncing problems with H.264 MP4 files on YouTube. Or export out as Quicktime. YouTube has no issues with Quicktime either, at least not in my experience.

MP4 would be the ideal format to choose for Youtube upload, not WMV.
