Subject:Vst plugin Rack FX Posted by: astral_supreme Date:1/10/2009 8:39:33 AM Hello everyone, Is there anyway to display more than one Vst FX plug in at a time in the same fx window (acidpro 7a)? Or even open each effect in its own window and be able to stack them or dock them for easy viewing? For example I can chain 5 effects to the same track like deesser, compresser, reverb, eq, and delay, and then can hear them all at the same time, but can only see and adjust them one at a time. With alot of new effects being stackable and rack designed, it would be nice to see as many fx at once as my system can handle. I have plenty of room left over in the plug in window to show multiple effect displays at once, and also have two 19" monitors, so i have the screen realestate. From what i can see so far i can move the fx left or right in the chain, but i cant stack them for viewing at once. Is this possible? Any thoughts on this? This is one of the most annoying things I find about the entire Sony software suite (Vegas included). We are forced to view one window at a time and it really impedes our workflow. Very often I want to compare settings on FX and what I do is use TechSmith SnagIt to capture the screen and then compare the screen capture with a new settings window. Unfortunately, this doesn't help the need to see multiple VSTi's at the same time. :( This would be a great addition to ACID Pro 8.0. ~jr
