I have just upgraded to v7 from v3 but the playback of the demo song is a bit of a worry as it stutters....... more so as the track goes on. I am new to this and have probably committed a simple error. Also whenever I try to click the help section, nothing happens...... I presume a webpage is supposed to appear? I still have v3 though chers Rob |

Which version of ACID is this? Music Studio? Pro? ACID has made leaps and bounds between versions 3 and 7 which usually means a higher system requirement (not too high, but if you have an aging system it's worth nothing). Iacobus |

pcloopy--you should put you system specs in your profile so the sony guys can guesstimate what the issue might be. i don't think the demo song is very cpu-intensive stuff. it doesn't use any effects or softsynths if i recall correctly. my cpu cores stay at almost zero cpu use with just audio tracks. when i add vsts, they jump substantially. do this to see if you are cpu-bound: right click on the task bar at the bottom of the screen and choose Task Manager. go to the performance tab. then go to acid and play the demo song. does the cpu go to 100 percent?
