Subject:"Hire" a scripter to do a specific script?

I know that someone earlier asked if it's possible to do what I'm looking to do, and someone replied that it's pretty straightforward. However, it's not straightforward to someone (me) who doesn't do scripting... I regularly record long voice-over narration files into which I insert multiple markers. I need to export each "marked" section to a separate file -- and I want the files to be WAV files (44,100Hz), AND I want the set of files to use the set of names that I assigned to the Markers. I've experimented with the built-in scripts "Convert Markers to Regions and Extract" and "Save Regions as Files" but neither one gives the result I need. I either lose my Marker Names in favor of some sequential-numbered new names, and/or the files get rendered to Sony's "clear audio" format, which isn't recognized by the other software I use. Would someone write me a script for, say $25 or so? (Apologies if that doesn't seem fair - I don't know how much work would be involved.) If yes, please reply here with how to contact you, and I'd be delighted to proceed. |

I must have been doing something wrong... I've experimented some more, and "convert to markers and extract" DOES seem to do what I want it to do. So with apologies, I rescind the offer to hire a scripter to do this... |
