(lame, can't delete a thread I guess) This was a message about not being able to hear the metronome, but I realized it was keyed off the preview buss so I'm good now. It could still be yet louder though, even with the buss at +12dB the metronome is barely audible over a mix. |

Then your mix must be incredibly loud - like wa overloading. i'v enever needed the preview fader more than "zero". Have you selected alternative custom sounds that are overly quiet ? If so, try 'normalising them to maximum in an audio editor. geoff |

I agree with Geoff! Man I hardly ever have that damn cowbell metronome over -10 or so! Its loud as hell which tells me your mix must ear-splitting. |

You've got the preview fader enabled ? And you've double-clicked the slider to set it at default ? I take it this is where you are cranking the level .... Haven't got a 'Dim' switch enabled ? geoff |

I have the preview fader set to +12db (all the way up) to hear it, but I have to remember that it's there before I hit the media manager or explorer or I'll blow out my monitors :-S No dim switch... it's all going out software return 1/2 with the rest of the audio. |
