BF here - how to install noise reduction plugin?

Brain F*rt - I'm setting up Vegas 8.1 on my new Vista PC. I can't remember what I have to do to get the Sony Noise Reduction plugin to show up in the audio effects list. Anyone?

I've run setup for the NR, and it shows up in the Vista program list - just not remembering how to get Vegas to see it as a plugin.

Of course, I HAVE done this before...

you don't do anything, the plugsins just show up. Perhaps because it's a 32-bit plugin?

Hmm... it hasn't shown up in 8.0c either. Maybe it is an install issue. I'll try again.

EDIT: Uninstalled 2.0b, downloaded 2.oh and reinstalled. Works in 8.0c but not 8.1. I hope they will make this available in 64 bit.

I thought you said this upgrade was gonna help you get more work DONE....not create more busywork to DO. ;-)
