Subject:Resetting VST delay compensation?

All of a sudden a VST I'd been using for a while without problems started to introduce a half-second or more delay to every track I had it on.

I am assuming that this is because the delay compensation informaion for the VST somehow ended up incorrect and I was wondering if there was a way to reset it so that I can use that VST again.

1)What is the name of the vst? [ie:PSP Vintage warmer 2...]

2)What version number are you using?

3)Where is the vst plugin used? [ie:on a track,buss,assignable effect,master outs...]

4)Does stopping/starting playback help reset things?

5)How do you have your tracks routed?

6) Do you have a track routed in such a way that causes this glitch?

I have a problem with PSP audio's "Vintage Warmer 2". I'm using the most current version. I have a guitar track. I use Native Instruments "Guitar Rig 2" on the track. I have the vintage warmer on "buss a". In the guitar track I route the audio to the master as well as to "buss a".

If I do any changes to the parameters to the track or plugin I will get this "delay sounding effect".

If I stop/start playback it goes away.

Is this what you are seeing?

Ed.

BTW...Please list all vst plugins you are using/you own.

1, 2. Yes, it's PSP Vintage Warmer latest version.
3. I've seen this both on a buss and on a track (both as insert effects
4. Stopping and starting did NOT fix the problem.
5. No fancy routing--all internal to acid, generally to a buss and then to the mains

I just slapped it on a track I was working on now and it seems to be ok now. Maybe just a bug in this version that only shows up in certain circumstances... perhaps I should revert back to the older version.

I removed it from the offending project so I can't say exactly what the setup was.

I can confirm delays using Vintage Warmer. So does a friend who uses it in Logic, so perhaps it's a PSP problem?
