Subject:Missing Izotope Effects Rack

Hi

I upgraded to ACID Pro 7.0a. Everything went well.

I installed all of the bonus software and it all works fine, except that I can't see the Izotope Effects rack anywhere. I've tried reinstalling, and the problem remains. It's as if the plugin doesn't register when I install it, though it looks as if it's worked OK. I even get the final message on the dialogue box.

Can anyone advise?

Thanks

Baxter

In the options dialog there is a VST tab. Whenever a plugin goes missing for some reason I click the rescan button and it does a full rescan for plugins and they appear.

Thanks. No such tab here, but all of my other plugins appear fine after I add them than run ACID Pro.

Maybe the Izotope plugins are DX rather than VST?

This is correct. The Izotope plugs are DX.

As part of the licensing agreement we have with Izotope we cannot lable them as Izotope plug-ins.

In your DirectX folder they are listed as:

Effects Rack Analog Delay
Effects Rack Chorus/Flanger
Effects Rack Dynamics
Effects Rack Phaser

Hi Peter

Thanks for this! Problem now solved.

But why on earth did Izotope want their name removed from the plugin label when their logo is there on the plugin interfaces? How bizarre. I thought they'd have liked to advertise but - hey - what do I know?

Thanks again

Baxter
