Hi Everyone.

I could use some help. I need to record the sound of a voice coming through a telephone receiver and place it into a song. I have experimented with the graphic equalizer and I just can't get the right setting. Does anyone have any suggestions for settings or special filters I can use? Thanks.

Joe

The Izotope mastering EQ that comes with Sound Forge 9 has a telephone setting. I've also had success using the free download from Izotope called "Vinyl" (turn the setting down to a 1950's record player but don't turn up any of the faders for record sounds... then using the Acid Track EQ after vinyl in the chain.

Use an EQ and cut all frequencies except for 1K which should be boosted.
