How do I use a VSTi with multiple stereo outs? -ACID Product Family

Subject:How do I use a VSTi with multiple stereo outs? Posted by: darrena Date:11/26/2008 6:30:32 PM When I insert a VSTi with more than one stereo output pair, I don't see the option to leverage this in AP7. In reaper (which is pretty hard to use, I much prefer Acid), each stereo pair shows as its own track. In Acid, I'd expect each pair to show as its own output bus upon which I can apply effects, etc.

From the ACID Help: Add or remove soft synth busses for multiport VST instruments When you insert a VST instrument that supports multiple output ports, ACID creates a soft synth bus for the VST instrument's main output in the Mixing Console window. You can add soft synth bus controls for each of the VSTi's output ports to mute, solo, add effects, and adjust volume for each soft synth bus control individually. Right-click the VST instrument's soft synth icon in the Mixing Console window. Choose Insert/Remove <Synth Name> Outputs from the shortcut menu, and then choose a command from the submenu.
