Hello everybody...I´m a musician/composer from Portugal and recently installed acid 6.0pro in my pc. Everything was ok, until I tryed to record.... when i try to record and press the REC button it not only records the guitar I´m trying to record but also captures the sound of the previous tracks, obviously in a much lower volume, but i tryed checking all the features of my sound blaster audigy 2 and it seems and says it is working properly!!!

Please need help, because I´m recording and album next February and need to record!!

Thanks

Flávio

In your sound blaster mixer control panel, go to Options / Properties / Recording. You probably have 'What U Hear' selected. Choose Line Input or Microphone (whichever you are connected to) instead.

i used to have that problem when i recorded vocals. not sure if your problem is the same as mine was, but assuming it is, then the other tracks your hearing are coming from the headphone, the mic is probably picking it up. try to lower the volume of the headphone, or the volume of the mic. or simply try backing away from the mic a little. hopefully this helpes u out.

The audigy has a control panel software. Just look in the creative folder.
