I was wondering if this interface was in the test matrix. Most worrisome is the tendency for AP7's UI to become unresponsive, the CPU to spike, and the audio to stutter when using certain VSTi softsynths. However, when I use the same VSTis in Reaper or when I use AP7 with ASIO4All or even the Microsoft Sound Mapper, the problems vanish. I thought it you had one of the profire 2626 interfaces as well as a host of popular softsynths in the test pass, my problems would diminish substantially.
