Could you elaborate on this? Thanks, --j ----------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: RE: AP7 copying & pasting Beatmapped Track Events Reply by: Ranger Bob Date: 10/31/2008 7:16:12 PM Prior to version 6 you could select a select a measure(s) with a sound clip(s) that starts anywhere within that measure (not at the beginning of the measure). You could copy and paste with the time selection tool and the clips would end up in the exact same place within the new pasted measure. Since version 6, the new pasted measure ends up with the clips starting at the beginning of the new measure, ignoring the space that had existed in the original copied measure. This is indeed a bug and has been added to our bug tracking database to be addressed in an ACID 7.0 update. Thanks, --j ----------------------------------------------------------- I’ve reported this bug several times since version 6 debuted and even received a phone call from a Sony tech and he said YES it is a bug that needs to be addressed. That was two years ago. By the way, the new update , 7.0a is AWESOME!! Even with the minor bugs. |

Why bother, but here goes. The time selection tool is still not working properly even after two updates to version 7. The bug is described in an earlier post above. You’ll notice I first reported this bug in version 6. Another bug that’s been reported and acknowledged by Sony has not been fixed. After moving a recorded clip to a different track and then right clicking on it to access a preferred editor will open the wrong clip in that editor. For users who have moved beyond using Sony readymade loops these bugs can be a time consuming pain in the arse. Message last edited on3/27/2009 11:20:32 PM byRanger Bob. |
