How do you output MIDI files in ACID? Everytime I render something or "export midi", and play it back it's a piano sound. All I want to do is use the basic Sony DLS synth sounds, like the explosion, car, etc. Can anyone help? |

That's because Piano is the first program on the 128 general midi sound bank set. You have to open the synth (by clicking on 'Synth 1' in the mixer window) and select a different program for the midi notes to play. If you 'save' the track will remember the program setting you choose. There may be an even easier way from the midi track header ... look in the help menu and search for 'program.' pHuN |
