Subject:Dragging clips doesn't move damper pedal events

This may be by design, but I'm thinking it's not the greatest design. When I record a MIDI clip, I often want to move it within the track and to several other tracks to build up a score. When I drag a clip, all of the aftertouch events move with the clip, but the damper pedal seems to stay where it is on the track. This is really suboptimal, since the pedal of course is sustain and totally needs to stay relative to the notes, not absolute on the track. I can't seem to find a way to make it stay with the clip and I can't seem to find a way to take part of an envelope and drag it to move with the clip. I have the "Lock Envelopes To Events" toolbar button in the "ON" state and this is the only envelope i have seen that doesn't obey that setting. |

NVM, I think I figured it out--it looks like if something extends beyond a clip it gets left behind... i usually end up trimming off a few beats at the end because I don't press stop the second the clip is supposed to end due to my lack of a 3rd arm ;-) |
