Subject:Reset MIDI--can we give it an easier shortcut?

I find I'm using reset MIDI constantly, but CTRL-ALT-F7 sure seems like way too much work to press. Is there any way we can either have a customize feature or just make it some basic key--something that doesn't require a modifier? Is there a reason it's not just "r" or "F7" without the CTRL and the ALT at least?

You can reassign this using the Customize Keyboard set up. It is on the tools menu.

F7: Assigned to Generate MTC command. You can reassign this to Reset MIDI.

'r': Its main assignement is to insert a Region. It can be assigned to other things other than global commands. "Reset MIDI" is a global command, so you cannot assign 'r' to it.

Sweet. Thanks Peter. I should have looked for the customize command before I complained ;-)

It always helps to check the documenation or help files. Many times I hear that we don't support this or can't do this, when in reality we do.

Reset MIDI is also an available toolbar icon. IMHO it should be on the toolbar by default but that's one of the first modifications I make when I install a new version of ACID is to customize the toolbar and place the Reset MIDI button on there where I can easily get at it.
