I have not had any real problems so far. I effectively tried to crash AP7, it froze up the computer and I had to do a hard restart after I loaded up about 10 loop tracks and on four of the tracks I applied 3 of the new effects and PSP nitro as a chain, so 16 effects at once plus I added absynth as a softsynth to one of the tracks. Should I update my delta driver to 5.10.00.5057v3 from 5.10.00.0051? Yes. How could it hurt? Do you think it crashed due to plugin count? Or a bad plugin? Or the drivers? Sorry but I don't understand your question. Your system looks great. Lots of horse power to get the job done. Ed. |

Agreed, that was a confusing question. I have used this old driver for a long time, a while back I updated it and I seemed to have some crashes so I went back to the old one. Wondering if there any AP7 users out there that are using the Delta 5.10.00.5057v3 driver with XP SP2? |

I'm using that driver with my Delta 66, in Win XP SP3. No problems at all in AP6, and so far so good with AP7. |

Check out the M-Audio forums. I have not installed the latest SP3 drivers for any of my M-Audio devices because of other users' problems. Updating M-Audio drivers can be a crap shoot anymore. |
