my 0404 looses sound when I open MS7 and after edits. its quite frustrating, is there a fix close at hand? thanks for any attention |

I may have misunderstood. Are you using ACID Music Studio or ACID Pro 7? There is currently no plan to release an update for ACID Music Studio. I was speaking of ACID Pro 7. Peter |

I bought Acid Music Studio 7 and get no sound when I open the program, according to support you have to refresh the prefs to get the sound back. But after doing that, the sound goes out again after you do some edits or add new audio. This problem renders the program almost unuseable, sometimes refreshing the prefs doesn't even work and I have to reboot the program. As I said its very frustrating and I can't really use it under these conditions. Written right in your support faq the problem with emu cards is documented, thats how I found out how to get sound back. It also says that Sony is aware of the problem and working on a fix, I contacted Sony support a while back and they confirmed this...now your saying this is all untrue? My emu dirvers work without problem in my other audio software, its only AMS7 that has this problem. Message last edited on11/7/2008 7:44:44 AM bywave. |

No, I am not saying anything is untrue. I explained that I am currently looking at the issue for ACID Pro 7.0. I am not aware of any update planned for AMS 7 as I am not involved on that project. Peter |
