[Bug] Drag/drop from VSTi defaults to Synth 1 -ACID Product Family

Subject:[Bug] Drag/drop from VSTi defaults to Synth 1 Posted by: Vocalpoint Date:11/5/2008 10:12:43 AM Peter or other Dev folks: If I load EZ Drummer to a AP7 project - it appears as Synth 1 in the Mixing Console. Then if I add Stylus RMX to the same project it appears as Synth 2. However - when I select a groove that I like in Stylus RMX and drag the MIDI file to the project timeline - it always defaults to Synth 1 as the output. I have to go up the track area and reassign to the right soft synth This is probably more a feature request than a bug - but is it possible to find out why AP7 would not (could not?) assign the correct Soft Synth output to the dragged file without having to manually adjust them each time? In general, the drag source does not tell us where it came from. Perhaps the RMX provides more information to make this association. I will look at it and see if there is any way to determine the drag source. Peter
