Hi, So all these instrument files that come with AP7. What player will use these files, and how do I load them up? Will the Garritan player use them? Doesn't seem so. Also, the Kitcore manual shows many beats under each drummer. But I only have one groove each drummer. Are the others accessible, or do I need to upgrade to the full package to get those? Thanks in advance. |

Garritan Aria is a soft synth with its own range of instruments, and some very nice sounds too. It appears as one of the soft synths available, along with DLS, Kompakt and any others you may have. The Kitcore is similar - it contains several different kits, so after creating a midi drum track, the overall sound can be changed by switching kits. Because it is a self contained set of samples, it can be used on any midi channel, not just 10. Can't help you regarding grooves - I've never used them ... yet. The kit core has a number of different drum kits. It also has a number of drum loops which can be played with any of the different drum kits or combined to make new kits. Ie: ben smith snare matt sorum kick etc. Each drummer also has a couple of signature grooves. You can drag and rop any of the grooves into a midi track |

Thanks for getting back to me, but what I really want to know is about the instruments that came as part of content pack #2. The ones named Alien Orchestra and so forth. But I worked it out--you load them into the DLS soft synth. Thanks again. |
