Subject:Known Bugs? (drag-drop)

So I saw that there is a known bug about dragging clips to new tracks and having their start/end positions, etc. changed. I was wondering if it was known bug when you CTRL-drag a clip to make a copy of it that the same thing happens in AP7.

Here's my example:

1. Record some audio (I recorded the vocals to 2 verses of a song)
2. Split audio at cursor (in my case between the verses)
3. Drag drop the second of the two clips generated from splitting the audio to a new place on the same track. This creates a 3rd clip. (in my case I was repeating the second verse later in the song).

RESULT:
The audio start point of the 3rd clip is the beginning of the original audio clip.

EXPECT:
The audio start point is the start of the 2nd half of the audio clip (where it was split in step 2).

Another bug with CTRL-drag
I noticed that sometimes CTRL-drag just refuses to work and you have to copy-paste.

This should be resolved in the ACID 7.0a update which should be available soon.

I do not believe we are aware of any bugs against copying and pasting MIDI events in ACID 7.0, if you could provide explicit steps that result in incorrect data in pasted MIDI events we could attempt to fix it for an update (or verify that it is already fixed for 7.0a).

Regarding:

"lots of crashes and bugs...i also feel that AP7 is slower and "heavy""

you will have to be much more specific about what you are doing and what expectations you have that are not being met if we are to have any hope of resolving these issues.

Thanks,
