Subject:Tempo of Beat mapped tracks

It seems that nothing is happening when i try to change the tempo of a beat mapped track in the properties. the elastiq time stretching sounds great but it's useless without the ability to alter the tempo

If you are changing the initial tempo like in AP6 it doesn't work the same way in AP7. Now that Beat Markers have been introduced you need to change the spacing of the markers to modify the tempo.

Why would they take away from the simplicty of being able to just type in the desired tempo in the track properties?
And doing it manually isn’t very precise.
