Subject:AP7 hung up on trying to load AiodLite.dll

I checked google and it says this is an Adobe program dll to check for genuine products. ???

Why is it hung up on trying to add this to AP7 and am I screwed by the fact that it might be loading everything I have Adobe wise on AP7.

The only was to stop it is task manager. AP7 won't go any further than this on the splash screen.

Again, it sounds like something installed on your system that reports itself as a plug-in or codec. In this case it is probably an indirect load of something from Adobe.

Not something we install, but that exists on your system and is registered in such a way that ACID attempts to determine if it is important or not.

Adobe has a nasty habit of installing drivers that interfere with other programs. I had the unfortunate experience to install some Adobe video software and after that SONAR and Vegas could no longer access my ASIO audio device because an Adobe Audio Driver was throwing errors (funny but ACID worked fine). This driver doesn't show up as a valid device on my system like other audio devices and there is no way to uninstal or disable it. Very "trojan / virus" like behavior if you ask me. So you might want to blame Adobe for the problems you are having.

That I do plus any other manufacturer that puts spy, malware and adware on their programs.

Thank you.
