I can't seem to get AP 6 and now AP 7 to record morphing sound variations from my Kore 2 Controller. I assumed that it would work similar to Cubase where all you need to do is enable Write automation and playback your prerecorded midi track, while moving knobs on my Kore Controller (or manipulating the crosshairs on the screen with the mouse). Switch back to Read automation and the movements should be recorded. This does not seem to work for me. Any help would be appreciated. - Eric |

To record VSTi param changes you have to tell ACID which params you want to automate. - Show Bus Tracks by typing "B". - Locate the Soft Synth bus track for the VSTi - and right click on the bus and select "Soft Synth Automation Envlopes| Soft Synth Automation..." This will preset you with a window to configure which parameters you want to automate. I had this discussion on KVR and realize that with tools like Kore, our approach needs to be updated. I will look into this, but no promises as to when this workflow will be added. Peter |
