Here is Gary Rebholz showing us what's new in ACID Pro 7.0 New Mixing Console & Metronome Count-in Enhanced Beatmapping for tracks with tempo changes & Tempo Curves New 3rd Party Plug-ins Enhanced timestretch and pitch shifting with élastique Pro If anyone is on the fence about the upgrade, this is a good way to see some of the new features in action. Very helpful clips - thanks Johnny I know it's not "cool" to be enthusiatic, but I think the new features are great - it's matured into a very solid product. |

Well... I must be very uncool then because I'm thrilled with the new version so far. Since I moved to Vista (64) last year I couldn't use AP6 anymore and tried Reaper for a while. While Reaper is very powerful and all that, opening Acid Pro 7 was like coming home again for me. Everything is clear and easy, even more so than before. I can't wait to have more time to play with it... Work for my freelance business comes first but that's is now my first priority, not the second (I quit my 9 to 5 job to go freelance full time recently) so that now makes making music my second priority instead of a distant third... ;-) |

I have always liked Gary's videos, maybe even a year ago I opened up his ACID 3.0 book, which btw, amazon has a used one for sale for 33 cents in good condition. |

The new beat change device, amazing, but did I also hear a tad lowering of the "note" too? It was in the section going down to 70 beats. Great to see Izo coming in. I do like the ease of their software. Grazie |
