Acid Music Studio - New Version? -ACID Product Family

Subject:Acid Music Studio - New Version? Posted by: Mas Date:10/28/2008 4:52:34 AM Dont Sony usually bring out a new version of Acid Music Studio after releasing a new version of Acid Pro? I'm just wandering what can we expect from the new version of Acid Music Studio? Im really wanting to get me a copy soon but will wait till Acid Music Studio brings out a version that will allow 24bit depth. I really dont mind the 48khz sample rate. Ive jammed on my mates acid pro 4 & I really like it. I like the simple interface & how easy it is to actually get what you want done quick. I think Acid Pro version is out of my budget as I already own CubaseSE3. Any info will be much appreciated. Cheers

I believe Acid Pro Music Studio 7 - is the precursor to the Pro line. 7 has been out for a while already.

This is one of the features that separates the Pro version from the Music Studio version. I doubt you will see 24bit support in the Music Studio version. You might want to look for an older Pro copy on eBay and use that as an upgrade path (but be very careful buying software on eBay because there are a lot of pirated copies out there). ~jr

Stink really. lol I mean, Sound Forge Audio Studio has 24bit support & its part of the Home Studio Product line, I cant see why they cant make 24bit support for Acid Music Studio version??? Im going to hope & pray that they will with future versions! lol

I believe Acid Pro Music Studio 7 - is the precursor to the Pro line. 7 has been out for a while already.
