Subject:AP7 What do YOU want to see in it?

OK hows about a more "productive" AP7 thread!?
I know some of you have mentioned stuff in other threads but hows about we name all the things that we are looking forward to as well as things that YOU would like to see! (that Sony may have overlooked!?)

Personally, I would like to see:
- A "Tap Tempo" button!?
- Copy/Move Key change/Tempo change "Areas"
- More/enhanced Drum programming (MIDI & Audio)
- Integrated Audio editing! (Integrate SoundForge!)
- Scoring!? (Notation - with Text!:-) ...allowing Karaoke style editing too!? (Not neceserily for Karaoke but it would make it easier for the singers...& others! Mmm?)

(Please excuse my ignorance if these are already available in AP6!?)

better intergration with uad cards.

stable rewire intergration with reason

Nothing of significance, but I would like to see a sleeker interface, redesigned icons, etc. Also, the ability to choose Media Manager fonts as well other program fonts. Ability to dock the icon bar anywhere. All in all, more control over how ACID looks. I would never choose form over function, but I'm a graphic designer/artist and appreciate a nicely-designed interface.

This is a bit of an academic exercise, folks...the truth is that the features to be included in AP7 are already nailed down by now. The product will now be in the QA phase before final release. So chances are that if you don't see the features in the current announcement, they won't be there.

Not that it's a bad thing to have a feature request thread, but don't be too disappointed if you don't see what you're looking for in the final version.

Well the OP did say to give suggestions as to what you wanted that Sony may have overlooked. Besides, it's never too late for suggestions. There's always ACID Pro 8...hopefully. o-)

I want to see ALL the missing audio features in Vegas that I listed in the thread below over 1.5 years ago. I was hoping it wasn't too much to ask, for Acid to have the same "Audio" funtions that Vegas has, since both do audio multitracking.

...and i see that many of your suggestions are now in AP7, so someone is listening! :-)
(Just some of the responses from SonyPCH were a little...uh...strange!?)
