Just a quick note of thanks to the tech support staff for helping to sort out an issue where my SF9 would no longer recognise my AC3 plug-in and license from my Vegas 8 Pro/DVD Architect 5 instalation. After a few false starts, they finally came up with a simple solution to the problem, so I now can render out of SF9 an AC3 Pro file without it wanting me to buy it again. Thanks Guys! |

So what was their solution? I'm having this problem now myself, after doing a clean windows install, and installing Vegas Pro 8, DVD Architect 5, and Sound Forge 9; all from their most recent update downloads. Never had this issue before, though this is the first time I've tried since 5 came out. Maybe some issue with not installing it overtop of 4.5? EDIT: Nevermind, I ended up getting access to the AC3 plugin through Sound Forge just by replacing the the "AC3plug" folder in the SF directory with the one from the Vegas folder. You didn't need to replace the whole folder, just one file...ac3plug.dll... |
