Timecode in an external second monitor

Hi!

Is there any way to display timecode for VO artist on an external screen? I am still looking for such a possibility in Vegas 7 and I cannot find it. It is a thing of great significance for me. Thanks in advance for your help.

Add the Timecode FX to the media in Projects Media for the Source TC. If you add it to the event on the T/L you get the project's TC.

Other way might be to feed the midi TC to a TC display near the monitor however I suspect the MIDI TC will only be project TC.

I usually put the timecode in video preview which reads from the timeline. This will be displayed in both internal and external monitor modes.
Select: Video Preveiw> click the "Video output FX" icon> select "Sony timecode". Select the desired Timecode format.

If a different time is needed, (other than stating at 0:00:00:00) right click the main window's time display and select "Time format> "Set time at cursor".
