I just got Acid Music Studio 7 and I'm having problems with recording multiple tracks. I have Asio4all v.2 installed on my computer but when I select it as my audio divice and try to record-i can't hear my play back. I do have another divice option of NVIDIA ASIO driver-when i use that one it has a latency problem and the playback has "popping" noise when played. Could someone help me, I'm driving myself insane trying to fix this. thanks~AMP |

I'm not sure this will help you...but are you able to configure the buffer size when you select your NVIDIA ASIO driver (you should be able to get at the dirver's configuration dialog from the "Advanced" button in the Audio device preferences page in your ACID (assuming it's similar to ACID Pro 6, which is what I've got). Even with ASIO4ALL you can get the pops & clicks if you don't allocate enough buffers. I hope that this is helpful - it's all that I can suggest. |

To: Patrick@Denman I still can't seem to get my settings right! I can get a single guitar track recorded that sounds great-but once i record another one it's still choppy-could you maybe tell me your settings (assuming it's similar to acid studio 7)? I can access the advanced settings and move the buffer latency by the way. frustrated~AMP |

I had that issue with 6.0. Turned out to be the drivers for my audio card. I used asio4all drivers (http://www.asio4all.com/) and it worked for me. Not sure if that is your issue, but worth looking in to. Good luck. |
