Can't figure out how to route track audio to a vocoder.

AP6 only sees my vocoder as a VSTi ... so I can only open it as a 'soft synth.' Then I can't figure out anyway to route audio to it.

In Ableton Live I can place the plugin on either a midi or audio track. Placing it on an audio track permits me to route another track to the vocoder insert track.

Can I do something like this in AP6? How?

ACID 6 does not support audio routing to a VSTi or MIDI routing to a VST.
