Can music created with the free AcidXpress and the free 8-packs be used in a commercial, for profit product? For example, as the soundtrack to a commercial video. I can't find a EULA for them. thank you!! Message last edited on10/3/2008 8:04:20 AM byacidkarl7777. |

Well, this isn't official of course, but it's certainly my understanding that all Sony ACID loops & one-shots are royalty-free, so you should be able to use them in whatever way that you wish. I also understand that you are specifically restricted from crediting the source artist for these loops. I'd assume that the 8-pack loops also fall into the same category, since they are all Sony ACID loops. In general, you are NOT granted the same permissions for loops that originate with contests containing original artists' materials. Those loops can be used only in those contests, and any further use requires the explicit permission of the owners. |
