Subject:Music Studio 7 Trial version

I'm currently using Music Studio 6a (Build 66). I'd like to try trial version 7, to see if I want to upgrade. If I install trial version 7 with my already installed version 6, will I run into any problems with uninstalling trial ver 7, if I decide I do not want to upgrade? I.e,, will my old ver 6 still be exactly as it was?

It should be ok. The new version installs in it's own separate directory.

Do keep in mind though that any .acd files you save in version 7 will not open in version 6.

Ok, thx for the info. Also, does ver 7 send Midi Out, so that I can use my external sound module? (I haven't been able to locate a "features comparison list" that tells the differences btwn ver 6 and ver 7).

Lastly, what are the limitations to trial ver 7? I.e., no save ability? ... trial expires after 30 days??
