I just loaded my old ACID pro 3 on my new system (Vista 32) along with the bundled Vegas LE & SoundForge. Vegas & SF seem to work fine - allowing me to set my USB device as the audio record source. But ACID only recognizes the USB device as legit to record MIDI - no audio. Also, when I open ACID, I get a message that rundll32 has stopped working. Any ideas how I can get ACID fully functional? Thanx in advance! |

Sorry - you are out of luck. Acid Pro 6 doesn't even support Vista, so how could AP3? It's weird, even though Soundforge and Vegas do work in Vista. Jack |

Odd...because it seems to work fine except for the audio in. You sure it's not supposed to work with Vista? |

> You sure it's not supposed to work with Vista? Pretty sure. ACID Pro 3.0 was developed in 2001 with support for Windows 98 / Me & 2000. So ACID Pro 3 doesn't "officially" support Window XP (which did exist yet). The chances of it working with Vista are slim. If you're going to use old software, you need to stick with an old operating system. ~jr |
