Subject:Can't open 24 bit AIF files on PC

I have been given 24 bit AIF files from a mac person and am unable to open them in SoundForge on the PC. Mac people are all able to open them. Quicktime can open them and play them. Can someone please help me figure out how to get these as WAV files so I can use them?

AIFF (*.aif) files, from a Mac or otherwise, should open without issue in SF.
Possibly your file association parameters are not set for AIFF files.
"Options> Preferences> File types". check mark the .aif box.
