Subject:Cannot edit surround keyframes

I've been working on a surround project in Acid Pro 6.0d. I can set a series of keyframes on a track and hear the sound move where I designated it, but when I go back to edit one of the keyframes, it's always set to the first keyframe's position or sometimes to the "neutral" position (centered). It's extremely difficulty to tweak the surround environment when I have to guess the new position every time I want to make an adjustment. Am I missing something here? Previous versions of Acid Pro did not have this problem; I could double-click the small, round keyframe indicator and it would show me the surround position at that point in time. Now this no longer works. |

My experience with surround is a bit limited. (I am a musician, after all. :D ) When you go to edit a certain keyframe, are you in automation mode? Iacobus |

My bad - yes, that was it. Thank you for jogging my brain, mD!! It's been a while since I've attempted using version 6 (version 5 did this differently). The Automation Mode is actually quite awesome - I didn't see this in the docs, but you can move the panner control while the project is playing and it will record your movements for future playbacks - sweet! I'll have to play around with that one some more. |
