Subject:Key change problem

It seems like that, with every project I work in acid, after I save and later on open it back up, the key that my VST instruments were in is now completely off. I was originally working in B but I just opened it back up to find all of the VST instruments were in a completely different key. I had to spend about 10-20 minutes shifting the semitones on them all (8 tracks) to get them back to normal. This happens every time.

Is this a bug? It's driving me nuts.

That is weird. What VSTis are you using for these projects?

A boatload. Let's see, my entire list of VSTs:
3S
A-Bass 1.0
Adonis
Alieno
AM Wavedraw
Analog Warefare 3
Angular Momentum TB-30X
Angular Trance Gizmo TG 1.0
Arpy
Basic 64
BeatBurner
Chordspace
Crystal
Element of Surprise
Kompakt Sony Acid Pro Edition
Motion
M-Theory
Phadiz
PoiZone 2
ProtoPlasm
reFX Nexus
Rez
Sonik Synth 2
Spook Keys
Squeekbox
String Theory
Stringsynth
TB Monomate
Texture
TickyKlav
Toxic Biohazard

Keep in mind that the ones that are payware are legal (not pirated) so that couldn't be the problem. None are known to be malfunctioning either. And this happens with ALL of them (I tested it out about an hour ago). Made a simple melody with all of them, saved, closed out, came back, and it sounded waaaaay off.

"the key that my VST instruments were in is now completely off."

I cannot reproduce this.

Can you explain this a bit?

Are the notes on your time line are correct as you entered them?
The synths pitch is off from the note on the timeline ?

How far off are they?

Does this happen with the DLS Soft-Synth?

Thanks,
Peter

Actually I think it's more of it switching between major/minor instead of going between different keys.

"Are the notes on your time line are correct as you entered them?"
Yes.
"The synths pitch is off from the note on the timeline ?"
Yes.
"How far off are they?"
Seems like certain areas switch from major to minor and vice versa. Makes it pretty hard to fix.
"Does this happen with the DLS Soft-Synth?"
Yup.

Cheers.

In the track clip pool, does the MIDI clip indicate its key?

What is the key of the project?

Peter
