Subject:Looping issue

I'm trying to loop in ACID Music Studio 7.0. When I select loop, it works, however it also changes the actualy sound of that track. So like a piano sounds completely different. Ithought it was just in the program, but it renders the track with that same off sound.
How do I correct this?

Acid adjusts the key and tempo of the loop to match the key and tempo of your project. So if your project tempo is 120 BPM and the key is A, and your loop tempo is 90 BPM and the key is D, the loop will automatically speed up to 120 and change key to A, to match the project.

If you want your project to be based on the loop track's tempo and key, then you need to make such adjustments.

Adding to what feign said, you can right-click a clip and choose "Event Clip > Use Original Tempo" to, naturally, use the original tempo of the loop.

Are you using ACID's Explorer to browse for these loops? Any loops you browse should automatically match the project's key and tempo when previewed.
