I've recently bought a Presonus Audiobox (complete with malfunctioning drivers so they said to get ASIO4ALL drivers) got the ASIO drivers but when I go into ACID PRO 6.0d to select the right audio interface under ASIO there are no options available, ASIO recognises it and it has been selected. Any clues on getting ACID to recognise it?

Something else that baffles me is between a Xiosynth and the Presonus Audiobox I can only use 1 at a time because they max out the USB 2.0 bus (46% xio, 23% audiobox, 40% dedicated to the 4 ports) is there someway to make the system more efficient to use both devices at once?

Sorry for the ramble and thanks heaps :-)

Presonous told you to use ASIO4ALL?!?

Regardless, ACID works fine with ASIO4ALL. I would check to make sure you have ASIO4ALL installed and configured correctly. I am not an expert with ASIO4ALL, so I will let somebody here help you with this.

If the devices are maxing out the USB bus, then there is nothing that software can do. Are you using a USB hub? A USB hub _can_ cause problems. Get your devices off of it and connect them directly to the connectors.

Are there any other USB devices besides the Xiosynth and the Presonus? Particuarlly Disk Drives?

That they did, their first driver must have been a botch up because the way they answered sounded like I wasn't the only one with the problems, probably vista problems.......

Nope, just the two devices, it's a laptop so maybe it has a internal hub setup for distribution, each of the 4 ports is allocated 10% permanently, the webcame 1% it's trying to access 69% from the two audio interfaces so it's trying to access just a bit more, dunno I'll harass the manufacturers on that one. Checked carefully, it is it's own hub......
