This is new propblem that has just surfaced. I will add an audio track and try to arm it. When I click to red track record button, the button changes appearance, but the track does not arm. I check the audio card setup in the PREFERENCES and all is well. The only way I seem to fix it is to save my work, close the program and go abck in. This wors 90% of the time. The other 10% of the time I need two restarts. Not a fatal flaw, but annoying. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Flo Hi Peter - Long time no chat :) |

Video corruption, maybe? Have you tried updating or reinstalling your video card drivers? Iacobus |

no but I suspect it's the ASIO driver for my Steinberg MI4 audio interface....again. It's been a bear using it with Acid 6. Peter had to send me a special patch for the ASIO driver when I first upgraded and it just went on from there. It's a really nice interface and works flawlessly in every other DAW except AP6 - o well...maybe w/ AP7 my troubles will fade away... :) I even tried ASIO for ALL and the latency was too bad. It's not a constant problem. Ill just live with it and restart when needed and hope the new version will be kinder to me. |
