Does anyone have any experience using AP6 on a quadcore ? I'm thinking of upgrading to a quadcore Q6600 with 4Gb RAM (but still under XP). Will Acid take advantage of the extra cores and RAM (and I am aware of the peculiarities of XP with 4Gb). Thanks for any thoughts.... |

Just for completeness, I do note that in the tech specs for Acid it does say dual and multi core support. Just wondering about real-world experiences. |

Hey dude, Sony has confirmed before that acid pro 6 will use as many cores as available. The more the better. I wish I could afford a dual quad system. Anyone know when the "octacore" processors will be released? Ed. |
