Subject:Sony Music Studio 7 with Akai MPC?

Hi guys I need help connecting my Akia MPC to Sony Acid.
I just want to be able to record multiple tracks to my Sony Acid that are in my MPC.

All I need to know is if this would get the job done?

That would record MIDI tracks but not audio tracks. It would also only record the MIDI information, you would still need the MPC to playback any MIDI sounds unless you were also planning to use VSTi's on your PC for playback.
