any idea why these would work in the Plug-In Chainer, but not as a standard plug-in effect. when i'm just using them as stand alone in sound forge 8, i get a "Ding!" noise, but no message and it never processes the .wav. when i use the plug-in chainer the effects work as they should. |

Hard to say without knowing which version you are running. The latest plug-ins shipped with Reaper v2.206 do not appear to be intended for general consumption in other VST hosts. They will not instantiate unless the host provides a specific response to a custom callback value. I imagine if you go ask in the Reaper forums, Justin et al. can confirm this. J. Just tried the plugs in 8.0d and I get the beep as well when I go to apply the effect. |

Exactly Ryan, now try it, but instead use the plugin chainer and it will apply the effect perfectly..... definately wierd. Message last edited on5/27/2008 6:45:29 PM byLittleStudios. |

I've actually had this problem with some other effects in the past. I don't remember which plugs they were, but the same things here applied to them. |
