I've got an Mackie Control Universal running with Acid 6d. One problem I've noticed is the MCU faders are not always calibrating with Acid when in automation mode. Example: A volume envelope on a track is set at -10db. On the MCU the same track is showing +5 db. There are the same discrepancies in trim mode.
I wonder is it could be a midi problem (running the mcu through a midisport 2*2) as sometimes Acid doesn't detect the mcu is there and I have to rescan etc. Anyone have a similar experience?

Does mackie control work good with acid ?

Do you have the new one with the usb port or the last model?

I have the new MCU Pro and so far it seems to be working fine in Acid 6. But, I also had problems hooking it up with a midisport-2-2 and finally opted to just use the USB. However, since I've had the unit, 95% of my work has been tracking and mixing 2 projects in Vegas 7 & 8. The MCU has worked really well and I'm quickly growing dependent on it. Money well spent IMO.

I can't really speak to the calibration issue.

I have the older model MCU no usb (got it for £100 - fully functional - had it checked out - so unlikely to be the issue).
