Removing Media Manager 2.3

Hi,

I have Vegas 7.0e (Build 216)

I installed Media Manager v2.3 but after trialling I've found it unstable so have decided to remove it.

However after removing Media Manager via 'Add and remove programs' I get the following error box when opening Vegas:

"An error occurred with the Media Manager. This feature will be unavailable. Media Manager initialization failed."

When I hit the 'Details > >' button I get:

"Unable to read Media Manager assembly and class names from registry."

Media Manager is not ticked in the view menu, how do i completely extract any trace of Media Manager from my system?

Well, the thing is that it *is* gone, which is why Vegas is giving you that error message. You need to tell Vegas to not access it anymore. In Options / Preferences / General scroll down almost all the way to the bottom and uncheck "Enable Media Manager".
