Would be nice, when extracting cd as a whole image, if the regions and tracks could be named after the actual tracks on the cd and/or a separate file (like a cue file) created. I am intending to use the program to extract tracks from mix cd's that doesn't start and stop exactly at the track index points (i.e. they straddle them). When I extract such a track, it would be real nice to alerady have the proper track name and artist (obtained by the Gracenote service) ready at hand somehow. At present, I am going to need to generate a separate cue sheet via FooBar, and use this infor for 'save as' dialogues. Thanks, Simon |

A mix CD isn't going to be registered on GraceNote so there wouldn't be any information there to be retrieved. |

I'm not quite sure what you are meaning Chienworks,,, I was referring to cd's like this: http://www.amazon.com/Little-Fierce-Various-Artists/dp/B000ROAAP4 BTW: I have to say that I really agree with the second reviewer! These kind of cd's are often in Gracenote - in my experience... And this one in particular is present in GN. Message last edited on5/16/2008 11:54:52 PM byAllure. |
